When you initially subscribe to the Maven Machines Fleet Management service we set up user profiles for however many drivers and managers that we have information for (name, email address, employee ID). After that though, it is up to a fleet manager of your own to create new users in the system. You can go here to see instructions on how to do that!
After a user has been added to the Fleet Management in a Driver role, the new driver will have to sign into the Maven Machines application on their Android device. A new driver will either use the Driver Signup Code or Company Code. If your company uses a Company Code, this will be provided by the company and used instead of a Driver Signup Code for every driver.
Below are the instructions for drivers using Driver Signup Codes:
When driver account is created by Maven, they are sent a welcome email. This email will come to their inbox with the subject “Thank You for Choosing Maven Machines!”. You can also obtain the Driver Signup Code in the Fleet Administration settings on the Fleet Portal. When you navigate to these settings, you will be taken automatically to the Users page. Search for your driver here and click on their name. If their Driver Signup Code has never been used, it will be located at the bottom of their profile page.
Once the driver has their Driver Signup Code, they can then enter it on the Maven mobile application. If the driver has not downloaded the application, they should do so form the Google Play Store on their Android device.
Once the app is downloaded and opened, the driver will see a button at the bottom of the sign in page that says “Driver Signup Code”. The driver should tap that and enter their code. This will have them verify some information as well as create a permanent login. The login can be either the drivers email or phone number. Each user must use a unique username.
IMPORTANT: Once the Driver Signup Code is used once, it is no longer needed. The driver will sign in going forward with whatever they set up as their username (phone number or email address). If your company uses a Company Code, this Driver Signup Code will remain in the User's account page and will not be used.
