- Obtain Your Driver Signup Code: Check your inbox for an email from Maven Machines. The subject will be “Thank You for Choosing Maven Machines!”. This contains your Driver Signup Code. You may have to check your junk or spam folder if this message is not in your inbox.
- Getting Started Instructions: Review the “welcome” email from the Maven Machines Operations and Success team. Along with your Driver Signup Code, this contains a link to our Getting Started Guide as well as our Support Portal.
- Log in to the Fleet Portal: You will receive a separate email with the subject “Welcome to Maven Machines”. Click on the link in this email and create a permanent password for logging in. ****This is separate from your login information in the Maven Mobile Application. The URL for the Fleet Portal is manager.mavenmachines.com.
- Download the Maven Machines Application: On your Android device, go to the Google Play Store and download the Maven Machines application. Once you have it downloaded, open the application and tap the link at the bottom of the screen where it says, “Enter Driver Signup Code”. This will have you set up a permanent login using your phone number or email address as well as a password. This is for the mobile app specifically and is separate from your login credentials on the Fleet Portal.
- Gather all of the Your Hardware: Make sure you have all of the necessary hardware for pairing your vehicle to the logging device.
- Pair the Vehicle with Your Logging Device: Once you have all of your hardware gathered and you are in your vehicle, plug in the VDA and log in to the Maven Machines application on your logging device. Please follow the instructions on this page if you need help connecting.
- Review Support Materials: Visit our Support Portal and review our knowledge base materials. There are articles that cover features, processes, and other aspects of the software. These will be very helpful when using the Maven system for the first time. You can also submit tickets to our support team directly from the Support Portal.
- Start your first drive with Maven Machines ELD!: Once the initial connection between your vehicle and the ELD is made, it will not need to be done again going forward. It should connect automatically shortly after you turn on your vehicle’s engine and log in to the Maven app on your logging device. Once connected, you can start driving and your duty status will change to driving automatically. Learn more about duty status changes here.
- A few other things to remember:
- It is good practice to log out then log back in to the Maven App every now and then. Re-authenticating your login credentials keeps things fresh and make sure all of the data flowing between your app and the Fleet Portal is up to date.
- Be sure to do your DVIR reports if necessary. There is a tab at the bottom of the app where you can do pre- and post-trip inspection reports.
- Power off your logging device when possible. For example, it is good practice to power off the device after you go Off Duty (if you do not need the device for anything else).
- Remember your password! Write this down when you create it initially. It will be necessary if you log out at any point.
