Once a driver’s shift has ended, they should proceed to certify their log. This is a very easy task and getting used to doing this after every shift should be made part of a driver’s routine. This short article will explain exactly how the driver can certify their log.

Once the driver’s shift has ended, they can find that day’s log under the section Action Items section on the main screen of the Maven app.

If you are missing form information on your logs, such as truck numbers or shipping numbers, you will see a yellow notification indicating this on your HOS screen.

Any logs that are ready to be certified will have a label that says, “Certify Log”. Tap on the log for that day.

That will then open that day’s log with all of the events visible on the HOS chart. Verify that all of the status changes for that day are accurate, then find the Certify Log button in the top right corner of the screen and tap on it.

It will then ask the driver to authorize this request by tapping Certify Log again at the bottom of the screen.

If any of the status changes are incorrect, you can request an admin edit for that log. Click here to view a step by step walk-through on how to request an admin edit. For any other questions, please contact us by submitting a support ticket or calling us on our support phone line.
